Christmas Jumper Day normally takes place on a Friday in the second or third week of December.
In 2017, it falls on Friday December 15.
What is the point?
As well as being a bit of fun, Christmas Jumper Day was launched as a fundraising campaign by Save the Children back in 2012.
People are encouraged to ‘make the world better with a sweater’, making donations to the charity when they wear their festive knits to school or work.
