Ice Runway
Aircraft can touch down in Antarctica, on a runway made of ice. A couple years back, a Loftleider Icelandic Boeing 757 made the successful landing on Union Glacier, marking the first arrival by a commercial airliner.
The goal is to continue to bring tourists to the island.
